Pauline Filby

Bernard Coupu is looking for his friend Pauline Filby.

 

Pauline is an English Christian folk singer (folk, blues, gospel, rock). She sang gospel in an American Church in Paris, France. She was a great friend of his when she was in Paris between 1988/1990; he would very much like news of her/from her.

Edward Filby

We are looking for information on Edward Filby and his ancestors.

 

Edward Filby was born about. 1767 and died 1833 in Methwold, Norfolk, England. He married Susan Butters on November 30th 1791 in Methwold. Susan was born about. 1771 and died in 1822.

 

We have traced 7 generations back to Edward but unfortunately we seem to have met a dead end. We are still searching, but if anyone has any information that will help us to go back further we will be pleased to hear from you.

 


Anyone Killed in Action

As a mark of respect and to honor them, we are compiling a list of all those who lost their lives in action during the First World War and any wars or conflicts before or since.

 

If you have any information on anyone including civilians with the surname of Filby, Filbey, Filbee, Philby and Philbey; we will be pleased to hear from you.

 

We request as much information as possible regarding names, regiment, rank, number, dates, places, citations and medals awarded. Any information will be welcome, as we are anxious not to leave anyone off the list.
